Things to do in Agadir

Located at the foot of the majestic Atlas Mountains on the Atlantic coast, Agadir is famed for its sandy beaches, such as Agadir Beach, Aghroud, Tamraght, Imouran, Taghazout and Imiouadar - which offer sunbathing, swimming and a multitude of watersports, such as sailing, diving and snorkelling. A major fishing port landing mainly sardines, the city has become increasingly popular as a winter sun destination with European tourists, and is linked with many other world cities by a host of budget flights.

You’ll find that hotel and apartment facilities in the city are excellent, with your accommodation available as part of a competitively priced all-inclusive deal. Such packages also include your travel, transfers, meals and evening entertainments and daytime tours. Agadir has much to offer every budget and taste requirement.

Agadir Activities

After a relaxing swim in the hotel pool, why not head into the city for a sightseeing tour? Agadir has a host of streetside cafes in which to enjoy a coffee or refreshing cold drink, and the restaurants here serve the best of local traditional cuisine.

If you fancy a bit of culture on your Agadir city break, you can also check out some of the city’s main museums to learn about the fascinating history of this ancient cultural centre. We recommend Le Musse des Arts Berberes and the Musee Municipal de Agadir, with a stroll in one of Agadir’s parks afterwards, such as the Jardin Olhao or the Jardin Ibn Zaidoun.
