We stayed in the Ambassador Playa for 2 weeks, me, the wife and our 8 year old son. We thought the hotel was brilliant. There was an entertainer round the pool everyday to play games with the children and the entertainment at night was good as it did vary, they even had Punch and Judy one night. The food was fabulous it changed all the time. I can’t recall a single meal that was the same. The maids in your room are brilliant it was always outstandingly clean. The hotel is in a prime location which gives easy access to the beach, local bars, nightclubs, discos etc. This is certainly a plus point. We loved it, so so family friendly and a joy for all of us!

Have just booked this hotel for about our fourth stay, tried don pancho last time but prefer it here. Benidorm is great, all year round cheesy fun and a bit warmer than Blackpool. This hotel is clean, rooms perhaps a little small and dated but we just slept there. TV free has some English speaking channels. Maid service daily, if you need new sheets chuck them in the bath. Reception efficient & friendly. Always book independently don't need the reps, what you see is what you get with Benidorm, if you want to be scammed this is perfectly possible but if you use reasonable common sense this should not happen. Food at hotel is above average, we took friends once who are very fussy and they managed, loads of really fresh salad, pizza or pasta and occasional theme nights, including seafood and freshly carved roast. Love it here, you will too!

Hotel was great, very clean and staff were helpful. There is a brilliant spa and pool in the hotel you'll find located down by the restaurant only 5 euros for 2 hours well worth it. Very well run restaurant (considering amount of people eating there). Good variety of food. Room service was excellent. Would definitely book this hotel again.

My husband and I have just returned from a week at the Ambassador Playa in Benidorm. We found the hotel was great value for money, food, cleanliness, hospitality and location. The hotel rooms were clean and compact, with English satellite TV channels. The rooms were cleaned and linen changed on a regular basis, with an Ola! And a smile from the maid. My husband and I are experienced travellers and found the hotel staff exceptionally friendly, courteous and polite considering how busy the hotel was at the time. It’s in a great location, with an array of cafes, shops, bars, restaurants and beach at your disposal. The entertainment programme was varied and there was something for everyone of all tastes and ages. I would reccommed this hotel if you’re looking for a value for money holiday and a convenient location.
