Stayed here for 3 nights in November 2008 along with 2 mates. The location of the hotel is excellent but i would think it could be very noisy in high season as it is surrounded by lots of bars. The rooms are nice and the bathroom is an excellent size. Staffs on reception were friendly but in the restaurant i found them to be quite rude. Food was removed from the heated trolley about 20 mins before it closed. On a couple of occasions we had a job trying to find a clean table. It is self service but you had to wait a while before the waiter came to take your drink orders. The main course choices were ok, the desserts all looked very different but tasted the same .........bland. Evening meals were served between 7.30 -9.00

Marina
Just returned from The Marina Benidorm - first the good points - the location is fantastic. Beach two blocks away and you can see it from the hotel. Bars and clubs too many to count on the doorstep. The fridge in the room was a bonus. Everything was clean and the balcony was large.Now the bad. Service in the dining area (not worthy of being called a restaurant) is non-existent. The staff are not helpful and they do not remove dirty plates from the table until you actually leave! The food is very bland and mostly cold when it should be hot. Not much choice of desserts and they are the same every meal time. We stayed on a full board basis which we would not do again. I do not consider this hotel to be a four star rating, it should be three at best.
