My daughter and I have just returned from a stay in the Sol Pelicanos. At breakfast there was so much to choose from, we had a different one every day and all food was hot and cooked well, the pancakes were especially nice. At the evening buffet there was even more choice, again we ate some thing different every day, again all cooked well and hot. Our room on the 14th floor was clean and welcoming, it was cleaned every day and towels changed as often as you wished, we had shower gel, shampoo and hand soap in the spacious bathroom. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of wardrobe space. Ok the walls are quite thin, but you get this in most hotels abroad, but unless you listened carefully you couldn't hear what was said to easily. Overall a superb holiday and I would highly recommend this hotel.

My 5 friends and I stayed at this hotel (2nd yr running). The location is excellent to the beach, bars, square where the clubs are. The hotel is clean as are the rooms. The pools are great and always a sun beds no trouble. Food - something for everyone, yes chicken was available every night but you also had fish, pizza, pasta, rice, pies chips, chops, veg I could go on and on.............entertainment was fab, something on every night. Only problem was the lack of air con in the restaurant but this was sorted after our first week. Going back next year, loved it!

Me my husband my two children 4 and 1 years stayed in the pelicanos for two weeks in june/july 2009. The pool was fantastic our little girl loved it. The rooms also were as expected if not better. Very clean and nice bathrooms - nicer than average. Beds comfy. Air con ok. The balcony had table and chairs. The hotel is very central - close to night life and the beach. Breakfast had everything including chips and pancakes and all your typical fry up items (bacon, sausage, egg etc) and at tea there was always roasted chicken with different veg and potatoes... different fishes such as salmon, trout and swordfish plus others! Also other choices each night such as burgers, bbq ribs, meatballs and goulash! As well as this there was always a paella/noodle dish! This was just one part, there was also a children’s section which was decorated Fred Flintstone style and they always had pizza and pasta plus things such as fish fingers and cannelloni! There was a choice of soups on each night and a salad station! There was a good selection of puddings ranging from fruit to cakes to ice-cream! Excellent choice of food! We would return, it has everything we need and then some!

This hotel has the most gorgeous pool as well as being in the perfect location to be near the night life but not hear it when you go back to hotel. The food is good and every night they differentiated the selection but also had pasta, chips, salad and roll every meal so you could always eat something! In all, if I was to return to this resort of Benidorm I would definitely stay at the Pelicanos as I would rather have quality rather than having mainly British people.

I have just returned from a 4 day stay at the Sol Pelicanos for my hen weekend. Overall the Hotel was ok and the location was pretty good. We were about a 10 minute walk from the beach, maybe a 20 minute walk to the Square and there were plenty of local pubs and restaurants just outside the Hotel. The Pool was the best part of the Hotel. It was lovely. Very big and very clean. Meals were good with loads of choice. Usually chicken, fish, lamb or beef or pork. Breakfast was ok too with a few cereals, usual hot stuff and omelettes. Loved it, would go back but for longer next time.
