We stayed at the Pyramisa Cairo hotel and found the service was good and on the whole the facilities were up to scratch. We did think that the breakfast could have been better but from what I have heard this seems to be the case in most of the hotels! The specialty shops in the hotel were great and the owners very helpful and friendly,we bought a cartouche from the jeweller Karem..he was so nice and friendly,then there is Hosely,he has the other gift shop and does tours,we really recommend him for this,he is reasonable and knows his stuff overall. We would recommend this hotel, good location with just a 15 minute walk to the centre. We had a great time,just not long enough,we were very sad to leave as we met some nice people.
I stayed at Pyramisa hotel cairo for 1 week in June 2009 in a one bedroom suite..The suite was spacious and thats the only good things about it!!!!!Rooms are dated and things are falling apart!! My parents booked a deluxe room and it was horrible..very tiny..complained and got upgraded to a suite like ours..cleanliness not bad but not great either. Breakfast was good, staff pleasant..Pool area ok but no pool for young children.The best things about the hotel is the location. Thehotel its self deff 100% cannot be rated as a 5 star hotel as most websites mention. its is a 3-4 star hotel max.
