The hotel Victoria is a colonial style hotel built in the beginning of the twentieth century in Central Cairo. It is within walking distance to major tourist attractions.
The comfortable 90 rooms are all individually furnished. There are 72 double rooms and 18 single rooms; all are equipped with private bathroom, telephone and satellite TV. The air-conditioning is centrally controlled.
The Victoria’s main restaurant offers a buffet breakfast and an a la carte dinner. You can enjoy your drink or refreshment at the bar, the coffee shop or the internet café.
The hotel has its own private garden. It provides its guests with laundry and internet services (the latter in the internet café). There are also a hairdresser, a bank and a travel desk for your convenience. Several excursions are organized or facilitated by the hotel.
Lovely hotel in a great location just 10 minutes walk to the bus stop and easy to get to all the sights that Cairo has to offer. The hotel itself has a lot of character and could say it is stuck in the 70’s as a bit dated but that’s what makes it different, the service and all areas of the hotel are good and was made to feel welcome as soon as I walked through the door. The rooms are big and spacious but the bathroom could be re vamped a bit, but location was good and good value for money and would most defiantly return to this hotel.
My rating for this hotel: Rooms (3/5) Cleanliness (3/5) Service (3/5) Location: (4/5) Value: (4/5)
