Hurghada is known for its crystal clear water, untouched reefs and a multitude of shipwrecks. Within a couple of hours from the hotel one can be amongst a group of islands that are home to Dive Sites guaranteed to astound even the most experienced divers. The Beach Albatros Resort in Hurghada is located in a charming area on the beach of the Red Sea, only 15 minutes from Hurghada airport.
The hotel consists of double rooms in the main building and in the auxiliary/pavilion building, of suites, bungalows, and family accommodations. Units are equipped with telephone, satellite TV, shower, WC, air conditioning, having balcony or terrace. Suites have separate living room and sleep area. Family accommodations are with connecting door with one bathroom and kitchenette or duplex on 2 floors with kitchenette and a bathroom. There is daily housekeeping service and 24-hour room service. Safety deposit boxes on property in the Lobby at extra charge.
Upon arrival guests receive an AI bracelet that will allow them to take the advantage of food, drinks, sports & entertainment free of charge. In case it’s lost, a charge of €30 applies. At Christmas & New Year a Gala Dinner is being hold.
The AI programme consists of breakfast (08:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:30) and dinner (18:30-20:30), all served at the Casablanca restaurant. Also at the disposal of the AI guests is the El Kassr restaurant serving breakfast (07:00-10:00), long sleeper’s breakfast (10:00-11:00) and dinner (18:00-21:30). Theme buffets are available weekly. During meals soft drinks, beer, wine, juice and water are offered. Snacks such as cold & hot sandwiches, pizza, French fries, crepes and pasta are available at the Pergola restaurant & at the El Khan restaurant between 12:00 & 15:00. Every afternoon coffee & tea with cake or pastry is offered. Ice cream for children is available between 12:00 & 20:00. Daily midnight snacks are also served from 10:30-24:00 at the El Kassr. Locally produced alcoholic beverages & soft drinks like whiskey, vodka, gin, rum, brandy, beer, wine (white, rose, red), juices, pepsi, sprite, mirinda and fanta are offered between 10:00 & 24:00 in all bars & restaurants. Beach bar (10:00-22:00-during summer & 10:00-17:00-during winter), pool bar (10:00-17:00), Omar Sarif (lobby bar, open 24hrs, free till 24:00), terrace bar (20:00-24:00), discotheque (22:30-02:00, extra after 24:00) and Tic Tac bar (18:00-02:00, extra after 24:00). General managers welcome party is once a week.
Sport facilities at the hotel include fitness centre offering an extensive range of facilities & services (indoor sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and state-of-the-art equipment like floor & aerobics exercise equipment), private sandy beach, a giant swimming pool 2300 sq.m. in different sections and levels of water, indoor heated pool 800 sq.m., sunbeds & umbrellas by the pool & at the beach, beach towels, mattresses for sunbeds, three hard surface tennis courts, squash court, ping-pong, one beach volleyball court, football, chess, darts, boccia, mini–golf, children playground and basketball. There are various day & evening entertainment programmes & animation shows supervised by the professional staff as well as beach parties taking place during the summer season. The Prima Kids Club is offered for the little hotel guests from 4-12 yrs on daily basis except for Thursday.
There is a private beach, three outdoor fresh water pools and one heated indoor pool, children’s pool (separate from main pool), poolside umbrellas, umbrellas on the beach, sun beds at the pool, sun beds on the beach, beach towels, mattresses for sun beds, hairdresser (extra charge), shopping area (21 shops), internet service (extra charge). From 01/09 the water slides of the hotel are free of charge for all the guest in-houses. Facilities for children include mini club (4-12 years old), children’s pool, children playground, baby cots are free of charge. Doctor and pharmacy are available in the hotel 24 hours at extra charge.
