On arrival at the hotel I was bit unsure of what to expect as I had read mixed reviews. The hotel is huge with many different sections. I was in the resort which is nice with good pool areas and beautiful beach but rooms are not great. In the resort you only have 2 buffet restaurants which are not very good. After 2 days I upgraded to the hotel which is a totally different standard with much better rooms and places to eat. The hotel is 5* where as the resort is only 3/4* I would sayA very nice hotel but very big and I would suggest you make sure which part of the hotel you are staying as the standard are quite different.

I am just back from a holiday at the Sheraton and I would reccommend this hotel for the money you pay for a holiday in sharm. I stayed in the Hotel on a B&B basis and I would reccommend this as you are then guaranteed to be staying in the Hotel rather than the villas. The all inclusive stay in the resort or the Villas.I do not think the rooms were 5 star accomodation however they were spotlessly clean and the rooms were serviced everyday with clean towels and bed linen. Please tip the workers a small bit !!!!! they don’t get very much there. The Pool and beach is absolutely beautiful. We had our sunbed kept everyday for us by Sammy and lovely fresh towels on them. thanks Sammy!!!The Jetty is also very good for snorkling which I have never done before I visited here and it was amazing the fish are very strange to sea in real life I do feel it caters for the Russian clientelle with regards to the food that was on offer. However we were not staying in the Hotel for the Food. If you are not all inclusive the Food is very expensive and not good at all. Take a trip into Namma bay for €3.50 for your evening meal and you will not be disapponinted. It was very reasonable and the Food catered for the europeans here, loads of fish ,steaks and pasta if you like that.There wasnt a great atmosphere in the Hotel in the evenings especiallly if you like a few drinks and a bit of fun. Again I would say namma bay is better and much cheaper.I saw all the bad reviews for this hotel before I went so I was skeptical. All I can say is that it is a fine Hotel for the size of it and dont expect it to be too extravigant. I thought is was very nice
