I feel good about what I had booked. I saw that a celebrity who was there the same time as me was not very impressed but all i can say is lighten up.The hotel was spotless and respectable; on entrance the bloke on reception was very gracious and hospitable and gave us a map to position our room although the complex isn't too immense. The pool was amazingly clean and refreshing. The all inclusive option meant that you got liberated drinks on tap complimentary food and daily activities. Drinks were grand and weren't diluted down. The measures were as large as you like the only criticism i had with the drinks was that they didn't encompass pint glasses for beer and that seldom when scheduling for lunch the bar man wasn't always at his post. But you ring the bell and Johnny magically appears, or you just lay in the sun till he comes. The food was great and i am a very fussy eater so i was happy with what they had. The hotel seems to cater for the right age group. There were only 12 kids there when i went so chips and chicken nuggets abd burgers and hot dogs all that was on the menu for kids at that point, but if you like salad and pasta you will be okay and if not just go to the shop next door and buy a 1 euro pizza we got a few for late night munchies and it was good. There is an activity curriculum through the daytime where you can sign up for water polo, tennis, basket ball volleyball bowls, dodgeball and dance lessons like salsa and loads more at times through the day they were great they kept the kids and competitive men quiet for a couple of hours. The evening entertainment wasn't great but I had a laugh it has to cater for every age group which is a hard thing to do. The kids loved it and involving the guests did make it a good laugh when you are singing part and dance with fellow holidaymakers.
The location of the hotel was calm but you can stroll to the marketplace, shops and seaside. If you want to mission out then cars are cheap from as little as 12 euros a day. The entertainers were grand spoke every language beneath the sun and were really gracious, Jonny the bar man was great gave the biggest measures of drinks. The waitress was a glum intimidate but it was amusing trying to wind her up. I had a great time and will without doubt go back. The people who visited at the same time were also great, it just got annoying hearing people fault-finding the whole time, but then again thats the british for you they wouldn't be contented unless they had a touch to whinge about. We only paid £520 each for the week away and for that cost you cant be mistaken. Our holiday paid for itself in terms of drinks!
My rating for this hotel: Value: 5/5Cleanliness: 4/5Service: 4/5Rooms: 5/5Location: 4/5
Rooms were beautiful and clean, David on reception was lovely and friendly. Surroundings were great although a little further from the beach than expected, however food was really bad and cold most of the time as it was a buffet. There was no one at the bar most of the time so you have to keep ringing the bell. Not good when busy, then when they turned up they didnt smile or welcome you, they looked at you as though you had just disturbed them and they were not happy about it. Also make sure you keep the reciept to everything, we had hired a wheelchair from them, and they would not give us the deposit back of 30 euros, having the excuse that we didnt have the reciept. Even though we were the only one's who had hired a wheelchair. They even refused to give someone their 10 euro deposit back for their safe key. Again on the pretext of no reciept. An easy 40 euro profit. Which is a shame as if a little more effort was made they could have a nice hotel that would have repeat customers im sure of it. Would recommend the resort it was very nice.
