We booked a one bedroom villa at the Dunas Paradise and were very happy with what we got. The room consisted of 1 bathroom, 1 double bedroom and a lounge with sofa and dining table (not that we needed that). Just enough room for a family of four. We were located near the top of the hotel right by the sports area. It was a bit of trek down hill to the dining areas. The food was fab, very plentiful with lots of choice. We managed to find something different most nights. The staff were extremely friendly. My sons 8 and 10 loved the sporting amenities on offer. Football, shooting, tennis, water polo, killer darts etc. The evening entertainment was very organised and professionally run. You could play cards at the paradise bar if you wanted an alternative. We found that the Coronado Beach was the best beach around Just a 10min walk through town. We planned it so that we went in the morning and came back just after dinner, calling in to the Africano Bar on the way back for a drink. There was also a snack bar serving chips and burgers and ice cream which was great. Overall it was a fantastic holiday and i couldnt fault it. I realy would its one of the best family holidays ive had.My ratings for this hotel

First of all, Jandia is beautiful, long white stretches of sand and very relaxing. I recommend this area for couples especially! The hotel was rather large (even have a train that takes you around the resort). There were many guests, yet it never seemed too overcrowded. The pool was lovely and always had free sunbeds which is a bonus, as there are a few pools to pick from. There not heated though like they say they are meant to be! But the weather was so hot that it was not a big problem! They had daytime activities, but unless you were around the pool you wouldn’t have got an invite. I’m not into shooting or beach volleyball though, so again didn’t bother me to much! The staff was very pleasant and English speaking which always helps. There were some bars and nice restaurants in the surrounding area, but having booked this hotel all inclusive we ate in the hotel every night. Very much aimed at the European market, burgers fires that sort of thing and partly cold! The fact that the all inclusive drinks stopped at 11pm was one of my few complaints. The rooms were very clean and had regular maid service, views of the sea were wonderful and overall I would return for the price we paid.
