The hotel is made of three five star hotels to create the Gran Bahia Principe Riviera Maya. The tropical surroundings complete the stunning views out to sea from the hotel's secluded private beach. This collection of three excellent hotels offer an abundance of accommodation choices to guests. The hotel can be found in the commercial and entertainment centre of Mexico, Hacienda Dõna Isabel, located just 60 minutes from Cancun airport, 30 minutes from Carmen beach and 20 minutes from Tulum. It is really spot on for a relaxing holiday as there is loads to do on this large complex.
Hotel Facilities
As the hotel is made up of three brilliant hotels, guests are not short of activities to do. Whether guests wish to soak up the brilliant Mexican sun, take part in sports or include themselves in organised activities, the hotel has something for everybody. The hotel has seven free-form pools, each decorated with sunloungers and parasols. It is very easy for clients to relax at such a plentiful resort. Patrons can use the open-air spacious jacuzzi and can indulge in the luxury spa available. With a vast menu of treatments available including massage, saunas and jacuzzi.
If you are a more active client of the hotel, the resort will still cater for your every need. Why not head to the beach and try out some of the many water-sports or work out in the full gymnasium. Other sports available consist of football, golf, basketball and many more. The hotel does not stop there! Patrons with families and small children can take advantage of the ampitheatre and the live shows they produce throughout the day.
The hotel provides breakfast, lunch and dinner through a buffet restaurant. In addition to this, there are six a la carte restaurants and snacks can be eaten throughout the day as well as unlimited hot, soft and alcaholic drinks.
Room Facilities
The resort is filled with a vast amount of rooms over thre three indicidual hotels. Rooms have two double beds or one kingsize bed, individually-controlled air conditioning, ceiling fan, cable TV, telephone, hairdryer, coffee making facilities, ironing board and iron, full bathroom and balcony or terrace. Upgrades can be ordered at additional price.

My entire family stayed at the Gran Bahia last summer and we were all very impressed. This resort has absolutely everything. The resort is made up of three hotels and each has tram transportation between them. That is seriously how big this place is!! Everywhere was easily accessible and the facilities available were absolutely fantastic. There was never nothing to do. In addition to this, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and the entire complex was spotless. We will definitely return.

This hotel is definitely a mega-resort. You stay at one hotel and play at all three on the complex. The resort was absolutely beautiful. The gardens were well maintained, and you are literally five minutes from the beaches and swimming pools where ever you are on the complex. The food is good, there is always a wide selection of stuff to eat. It seriously was a holiday of a lifetime.

This is a huge beautiful complex. The rooms were clean and the food was delicious. We have seriously put on about a stone over the course of the week. We literally sat on the beautiful beach and watched the world go by. I had a massage at the beginning of the week and it set me up for a relaxing holiday. Even though the gym looked brand new, the frame of mind we were in meant that there would be little chance it was going to get used :) We will definitely be returning.
