A traditional Cretan building fully renovated in 2004 and a modern main building built in 2003 are home to the popular and International Arminda hotel, located 150 metres away from a golden sandy beach.
The standard rooms are elegantly furnished and offer ample wardrobe space. The family rooms are apartment style with an interconnecting door between the bedroom and the living room (see adjacent photo), allowing for a comfortable stay for the entire family. They all have refrigerators, direct dial telephones, satellite TV, air-conditioning (self controlled), safety box (at extra charge), hairdryer. They have bathrooms with bath or shower and a balcony or terrace with table and chairs to enjoy the sunshine. Twin garden view rooms are located at the traditional Cretan building only.
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-09:45), lunch (12:30-14:00) and dinner (18:30-21:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals beer, wine, juices and refreshments are offered. Snacks such as sandwiches, cakes and sweets are available between 10:00 & 18:00 at the snack bar. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like brandy, ouzo, raki as well as soft drinks, juices, coffee, etc are served at the restaurant (during meal times) and the snack bar (10:00-18:00).
Sport facilities at the hotel include tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball and a small spa offering a jacuzzi pool, hydromassage shower and fitness room.
A reception with multilingual friendly staff is located in the main building. There is also a lobby with TV corner facing the pool, card-tables, two pool bars (one of which serves snacks), a spacious restaurant with self-service buffet facilities and a covered outside terrace.
