This simple and economically priced hotel is situated in a quiet area of the calm, family resort of Santa Eulalia. Santa Eulalia itself is ideally suited for those wishing to enjoy a relaxed family holiday.
All of the 60 rooms have balconies, direct-dial telephone, complete bathroom, safety deposit box (for hire) and some even have air conditioning (available to rent and payable locally) for the hot summer months. In addition fridges can be rented to store chilled drinks! The three storey Mediterraneo doesn’t have a lift but the owner has reserved the first floor for families with young children or elderly clients.
The Mediterraneo has all the facilities for a pleasurable stay; breakfast is served in the comfortable salon, there is a bar/cafeteria right by the pool area, serving snacks and more, for lazy days sunbathing. And a pool table for the more active.
The hotel offers you a 24 hour reception, air-conditioning in public rooms and also has a swimming-pool, a sun terrace with sun-beds, a TV lounge, pool and card tables, internet corner (extra charge), and luggage storage facilities for late check outs.

MEDITERRANEO HOTEL
The first impressions we got from this hotel was how immaculate and well kept it was. The entertainment and animation programme team work very long hours and are always friendly and polite no matter what time of the day it is. The Spanish lady who is in charge of the kids club even remembered my children’s names and this really did add a personal touch to our holiday, my children loved her. You would need to be down by the pool for around 08.30 am to get a good spot for the day of sunbathing! There is a constant change and flow of food in the main restaurant which is what we found previous hotels lack in. The children’s menu is very basic and there isn’t an awful lot to choose from, however, the adults menu over compensates for this. It’s quite a walk if you want to get to the Lavante area of Benidorm, but the reception are more than happy to order you a taxi and this costs no more than 25-30 Euros. This was out 5th visit to Benidorm and we have stayed in a variety of hotels and this is the best by far. We would definitely return to this hotel in the not to distant future.
This hotel boasts a great central location, just minutes walk from the harbor. It has the cosy feel of a family run hotel and the staff can't do enough for you. All in all it's great value for money with the only slight downside that not all rooms are air conditioned - it would be worth requesting this - although you can hire fans from reception.My rating for this hotel
