This splendid hotel is the only one in the neighbourhood of the golf course Alcanada.A lovely seafront location only 15 m from the small sandy beach in the pretty residential area of Aucanada, just 2km from the Port of Alcudia and 60km from Palma airport. A popular hotel with families who return year after year. Steps down to the beach make it unsuitable for those with walking difficulties.
The spacious rooms have a bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, sat TV, direct telephone, safety deposit box and balcony. Some of the rooms also enjoy fabulous views over the Bay of Alcudia. Towel and robe service are available at the swimming pool area (with deposit).
The AI programme consists of breakfast (08:00-10:30), lunch (13:00-15:00, with Italian pizza & fresh pasta corner) and dinner (18:00-21:00), all buffet style with show cooking, served in the main restaurant. Thematic buffet takes place once weekly (Chinese, Majorcan, Mexican, seafood). During breakfast juices, cold & hot milk, tea, coffee and chocolate are offered; during lunch & dinner, local red & white wine, beer, water, cola, orange, lemon, lemonade and beverages. Snacks such as cold meat selection, salads, meat, fried dishes, pizza or pasta, sausages, potatoes, bread & pastry, cakes, ice cream and fruit are available at the snack bar from 10:30-12:30, 15:00-18:00 & 21:00-23:00 as well as tea & coffee time with hot chocolate, cakes and pastry daily between 16:00 & 17:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like beer, water, juices, soft drinks, milkshakes, tea, coffee, hot drinks, aperitifs, gin, whiskey, long drinks, wine, sangria, vodka, brandy and champagne are served from 10:00-24:00 at the indoor main bar and the swimming pool bar.
Sport facilities at the hotel include tennis, volleyball, riffle shooting, archery, French bowls, various games, football, table tennis, darts, three swimming pools with sun beds & umbrellas around them, water polo and mini club for children aged 4-12 yrs old. A full day (10:00-13:00 & 15:00-17:00) & evening (20:30-24:00) entertainment programme is offered for both young and old, including night shows or live music several times a week (seasonal).
My husband and I visited THE HOTEL PRESIDENT in Alcudia, Majorca for a week in July on an all inclusive basis. The hotel is situated in a lovely area about 20-25 minnutes walk to the port. The beach was lovely but I would say a tad small. The swimming pool area was very clean and no problem getting a sun bed at any time of the day. The rooms at the hotel were lovely and clean and a fair size as well. We had a balcony overlooking the sea which was beautiful. There was plenty of food on offer and it was very nice. The hotel aswell has a spa which is located inside the hotel. It has a sauna, steam room and a pool with jets. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in a good hotel in a lovely area.
