Can Picafort activities

The development of Can Picafort from a small fishing village in the 1960's to a well-established resort today, has seen this town grow quite substantially. It has become one of the most favoured destinations for people from all over Europe and the UK. It is particularly scenic and is also safe. The main activities on offer include water-sports, shopping, eating out in the many cafes, bistros and restaurants that line the marina and promenade, and visits to the nature reserve at San Baulo.

Can Picafort attractions

While many resorts in Majorca are known for their buzzing nightlife and all night entertainment, Can Picafort holidays are famed for their peace and tranquillity. There are two main beaches and plenty of surrounding natural beauty. The nightlife is low-key and it is an ideal destination for a peaceful and relaxing time.

C’an Picafort holidays provide visitors with a variety of accommodation, but most of this is hotel based. It is close to the old town of Alcudia, which is only 9km away, and you are able to explore the streets or visit the traditional Friday market there. You'll also find a water park, fishing port and bird sanctuary nearby.

The Caves of Drach are also within reach and these are the biggest tourist attraction on the Island. These caves are the home of Lake Martel, one of the biggest subterranean lakes in the world. Visitors are able to take a boat ride on this lake on a curious journey underground to see more of the caverns.
