A holiday to Calas de Mallorca will be a great experience for the whole family, or for your group of friends. This resort is more modern then many of the others found on the island of Majorca, and benefits from a host of contemporary hotels with excellent facilities, and a good range of bars, clubs and restaurants. With great beaches and plenty of quality accommodation options for every taste and budget, your Calas de Mallorca getaway is sure to be a memorable experience.
This resort is very relaxing and much quieter when compared to resorts such as Magaluf or Palma Nova. Many people come to Calas de Mallorca with their family and use it as a base from which to explore the largely unspoilt east coast of the island. We recommended that you hire a car to explore, as public transportation is limited on this side of Majorca.
There are three small sandy beaches at Callas de Mallorca - Cala Domingas Petit, Cala Domingas Gran and Cala Antena. You can chose from many different water sports at any of the beaches, including diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, sailing and swimming. But if you fancy something a little less energetic, why not just lie back on the sand with your holiday novel and top up the tan?
You can travel between the beaches by walking the coastal path in Calas de Mallorca. The path runs along the cliffs and provides some spectacular views. During the summer months there is also a Cala Express road train that will take you to any of the beaches.
At the Calas de Mallorca resort complex, you’ll find a myriad of shops, markets, bars and restaurants to keep you entertained. Much of the holiday activity centres on the resort itself, including organised entertainment shows and nightclubs.
