The hotel is located a mere 17km from Tenerife South airport so luxury is just a short distance away from when your plane touches down. The mass complex boasts a plethora of facilities. The Mare Nostrum has three swimming pools, 1 child's pool, Jacuzzi and a spa. Further facilities include 3 tennis courts, squash courts, mini golf, gymnasium, aerobics classes and fitness rooms. Further facilities such as hairdressers, boutiques and health and beauty centres can be purchased at further costs on site. All these facilities are located across the beautiful resort and are easily exploited.
Across the resort there are 12 restaurants combining a large choice of cuisines, from traditional Spanish to Russian and Argentinean. The food is all served in the form of a buffet in the Mediterranean Palace and will not disappoint our clients.

We have just returned from a fantastic 10 day stay at the Mare Nostrum Resort in Tenerife. The resort is located absolutely brilliantly and is only a short walk into the lively and beautiful resort. We were lucky enough to have a sea view room and it was lovely to wake up and sleep looking out over the water. It is true that the decoration is a little dated but the food quality was fantastic and the overall stay was memorable. We have already booked up for next summer.

We have never stayed in Tenerife before but it was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Mare Nostrum on our first time.We stayed on the full board basis in the Julius Caesar and we couldn't complain about the quality of the food. We would agree with other reviewers in the sense that the hotel does need a new lick of paint, but that did not take anything away from our brilliant stay. The complex is very clean and we were very impressed with how vigilant they were with regards to keeping the complex and rooms spotless.

We have stayed at the Mare Nostrum a number of times before but this time we splashed out a little more cash on a plunge pool. We have never made a better decision. The extra money not only purchased our own splash pool but the peace and quiet of sunbathing by your own pool on your own balcony. The quality of the services and food were spectacular, but the surrounding area has some top class restuarants. Overall we couldn't complain about a thing and look forward to returning to our favourite room.
