Myself and a few lads went to Tenerife and the first thing we noticed on arrival of the hotel was that The hotel décor was a bit bland. The staff were friendly enough and they greeted us with open arms on arrival.I thought the rooms were simple but neat and tidy and seeing that it was just a lads week away was not complaining too much. Im glad I took a lot of spending money as I didn’t rate the food but the breakfasts were not that bad at all.The location of the hotel is really good and the hotel boasts good facilities.All in all I had a great time here but its definitely a hotel I would recommend for young singles

This is our first holiday for a while as we have just recently had twins I was looking for a family friendly hotel that had good weather around the October month as it was all I could get from work we stayed at the Esmeralda despite some bad reviews really glad we did as it has a great location behind the Torviscas Playa. We were really pleased with the staff at the hotel as they really couldn’t do enough for us the entertainment was really good and the kiddies club gave me and the other half a little time to ourselves during the day. There are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area Fanabe Beach is really close by (more for the older guests and familys). The restaurant is a buffet service and very filling nothing special but is very good value. We spent roughly 2 grand on the whole holiday that was paying and spending money for 10nights which for the service and location I thought was really reasonable.

A nice hotel but would not rate it a 4 star, a very good 3 star but for what I paid I can hardly moan. The service however is out of this world the staff will do anything for you to make your stay special and that’s a good trait to have in a hotel! From the bar staff to the pool cleaners everyone was so friendly. The food was a buffet style meal and was ok plenty of variety to choose from but once again this allows you to go out and eat. There are plenty of restaurants down the road and lovely bars with entertainment which shut at 1 so not to late. The beach is down the road so not far to go if you want a change from the pool. A nice hotel for couples and families and would probably return
