The charm of La Caleta lies in its size and relaxing atmosphere in contrast to the nearby resorts of Playa Paraiso and Playa de Las Americas. Although easily accessed from the Reina Sofia International Airport - 15 miles west of La Caleta - it has retained the Canarian way of life and welcomes visitors with open arms.
