The Sir Anthony hotel is considered by many to be the jewel in the crown of the Mare Nostrum complex. At the core of Playa de las Americas it represents exactly what 5-star luxury is all about. The 72 beautiful hotel rooms all have air-conditioning, private balcony, mini-bar and music of choice broadcast exclusively into each room.
A stunning oval pool is at the centre of the Sir Anthony hotel as it gently curves its way around lush gardens and a stylish terrace adorned by deckchairs and parasols. For guests staying at the Sir Anthony hotel there are a further three pools to choose from - a children's pool, a Roman style pool and a discreet and beautiful pool for naturists.
Arriving at the Sir Anthony hotel means you can rightfully expect quality and great service throughout, and that’s just what you’ll get. A spa centre is on hand to help you relax, which includes a state-of-the-art gymnasium, aerobics room, sauna, solarium, jet showers and even a hair salon. For the ultimate personal indulgence, treat yourself to a massage, aromatherapy session, seaweed wrap or try out a lesson in tai chi or yoga.
Wandering around the property you’ll soon discover that you’ve insufficient time to enjoy all that the Sir Anthony hotel has to offer. There are three tennis courts, two squash courts, a mini-golf course, table tennis, pool table, children’s mini club and playground.
All this and there’s still three piano bars plus an entertainment auditorium and a wealth of restaurants to choose from. Take time to decide between fine Italian or hearty Argentinean cuisine, or if it’s native Spanish fare you want then sample some of the locally caught fish. Whatever your taste there's something for you at the Sir Anthony hotel.
This was our 3RD visit to the Sir Anthony Hotel, and will definitely not be our last. We booked Bed & Breakfast ( as we always do ). We booked a suite with a plunge pool and they are all located on the top floor with the most stunning views of the sea. We had fruit and champagne in our room on arrival and various other goodies were left in our room during the week. On the occasions that we did go down to the main pool area, there were always plenty of sunbeds available for the guests, and a pool attendant always made sure that towels and parasols were provided. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean and even in our room the towels in the bathroom were changed at least twice a day. All of the staff from the reception to the bar and even the maids and waiters were very efficient and friendly at all times. You do tend to find that the majority of the guests staying in the hotel are regulars and some of them, like ourselves, return at least twice a year. The location of the hotel is fantastic, so eating out of an evening is never a problem as there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The Windsor Restaurant in the hotel is first class and very reasonable. At least 8 waiters serve your table so it makes you feel very special. Overall this has got to be the best hotel in the island and would never stay any where else. To us it feels like home from home and having not long returned from here we are already in the process of booking our next stay in 3 months time. We simply cannot wait. 20 out of 10 on everything.
