Calimera Royal Maderna Sharm Review
This is my third time to Egypt and I prefer to stay in different hotels every time, so tried the calimera, overall hotel was nice but in my opinion a bit out of the way from naama bay etc I would prefer to stay in sharks bay, the price that I paid was a good deal so can hardly moan. But hotel and quality wise very good standards and excellent pool, room, bar facilities and plenty for families and couples to do to keep them entertained day and night. The beach is lovely has its own private beach and great for snorkelling! I would recommend buying a snorkel set and taking it with you the marine life is out of this world. I love Egypt and defiantly going back in the winter time
My rating for this hotel: Value: 4/5
Location: 3/5
Rooms: 3/5
Service: 4/5
Cleanliness: 4/5

Calimera Royal Maderna Sharm Review
Me and my friend have not long got back from a week at the Calimera. We had such a mint time over there. Fair enough, its not really a proper 5 star but it would be a very good 4 star. If you want proper super luxury you might not like it but we loved it.
The hotel itself is massive, it would take you like 30 mins to walk round the whole complex. There are like 5 different bars and a really lush restaurant, and you can get food at the pool bar as well. Didnt have to go far for anything really! Mini bar in room was always stocked up as well, towels changed every day, and they made those funny little sculptures out of the towels on our beds, which we thought was ace.
Girls dont need to take hairdryers with you, they have one in bathroom and its a really good one as well. Straightners worked fine over there as well although i dont think they got quite as hot as they would over here.
We decided to get a safe for room, which we didnt have to pay for, you just leave a deposit. Security at the hotel is really ace as well, they wont just let anyone in, ive never felt safer on holdiday, especially as it was just the 2 of us girls. Food was generally really nice, beach bar and bbq were lovely, and there was so much choice. we loved the brekky, you can literally get EVERYTHING there...they'll make you omlettes from scratch, right in front of you, fry-ups, cereal, fruits etc etc etc. Evening dinner wass really nice, and there was soooo much choice.Overall we had a mint time over there, and seeing as we got such a good deal on this (320 each!!!), we feel like we ripped THEM off.

Calimera Royal Maderna Sharm Review
Been going to the royal moderna for nearly a decade now and it really does keep getting better and better. Thoroughly enjoy the food, absolutely mind boggling array of pastas, fine cut meats and superb shellfish prepared fresh and on a regular basis. However! A humble word of forewarning is to be prepared to put on a bit of weight! The all inclusive package enables on to eat and drink to his or her hearts content whilst being able to sample some of Egypt’s finest culinary offerings, you also get a generous drinks menu to have all the merry water you may wish to have whilst enjoying the hotels fine entertainment, which offers live theatricals and traditional evenings and various other entertaining acts. The rooms are quite nice and accommodate a family of four quite effortlessly. As we journey as a couple on the bulk of our holidays we find that that the rooms are generously spacious. We also like the fine luxuries such as the Napa leather sofas..The draping Swarovski chandeliers…or perhaps the infinity edged pool that does it for us. Whatever it is, there is something spectacular about this hotel which I believe is very understated at the same time…it’s the best of all worlds. I highly recommend it to all travellers who wish to enjoy the trappings of luxury but without having to pay over and above the odds to achieve it! A savvy investment indeed.
